Algeria's Sonatrach and Venezuela's PDVSA signed two memorandums to boost energy cooperation, focusing on hydrocarbon exploration, extraction, production, and petrochemical sectors, as well as training Venezuelan technicians and engineers at the Algerian Petroleum Institute. These agreements precede the 7th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum in Algiers.
