Air Commodore Adrian Williams steps down as Air Officer Wales after a 16-year tenure, with Air Commodore Robert Woods taking over on St David's Day. Williams organized the RAF's centenary in 2018 and created the 'Wales and the Battle of Britain' exhibition. In 2021, he became the first Welsh Language Champion for the Ministry of Defence. Woods has a 36-year RAF career as an engineering officer.
