Oregon's unemployment system is set to launch a new, improved online platform, Frances Online, on March 4th. This $106 million system upgrade will provide a better customer service experience for UI claimants and is mobile-friendly, allowing users to do more through self-serve features. The old system, in use since the 1990s, caused delays in jobless benefits during the pandemic recession.
