At least 17 people died and 12 were injured in a bus collision in northwestern Honduras on a mountainous, single-lane road. The crash involved an empty bus that had dropped off migrants at the Guatemalan border and a bus carrying passengers to Santa Rosa de Copan. Road accidents are the second leading cause of death in Honduras, following murders. President Xiomara Castro expressed condolences to the victims' families and offered support.
