India's DGCA increases daily breath analyzer test percentage for aviation personnel from 10% to 25% to enhance safety standards.

India's aviation regulator, DGCA, has revised Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR) to increase the daily breath analyzer test percentage for air traffic controllers, aircraft maintenance engineers, and safety-sensitive personnel from 10% to 25%. The move aims to enhance safety standards by detecting alcohol consumption among key personnel responsible for aircraft maintenance, air traffic control services, aerodrome operations, and ground handling services.
