French energy major TotalEnergies has signed a long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply deal with Singapore-based Sembcorp Industries' wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Fuels. The deal involves the delivery of up to 0.8 million tons of LNG per annum for 16 years, starting from 2027. TotalEnergies aims to increase its LNG production and long-term purchases by 50% by 2030 while reducing carbon emissions and eliminating methane emissions associated with the gas value chain.
