Cody Bellinger has agreed to an $80 million, three-year contract with the Chicago Cubs, rejoining the team after a free agency process that did not result in a long-term deal. The 2019 NL MVP will have the option to opt out of the deal after each of the first two seasons. Bellinger's contract includes opt-outs after the first two seasons, giving him the chance to re-enter the market at the age of 29.
