An 8-year-old boy died, and two others were hospitalized after a fire broke out at a Southeast Baltimore rowhouse on Tuesday morning. Firefighters responded to the scene at around 2 a.m., finding three occupants—an 8-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 22-year-old—unconscious and nonresponsive inside the burning building. The 8-year-old later died from injuries related to the fire, while the two others remain in critical condition. The fire also impacted four rowhouses, causing approximately 19 people to be displaced. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
