A woman was shot and killed in Marion County's Citra area on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office. Deputies responded to the 16800 block of Northeast 41st Court around 4 p.m. and found a female victim at the scene who was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office is working to identify a possible suspect in the isolated incident, which is currently being investigated as a homicide.
