A trial in the UK involved 61 companies moving to a four-day workweek with no reduction in pay, and 54 of them still have the policy, with over half declaring it permanent. Follow-up surveys showed improvements in physical and mental health, work-life balance, and general life satisfaction, as well as reductions in burnout.
