Three men in their 20s were arrested in Westmeath, Ireland, after a high-speed police chase following a burglary report in Ballynacargy. Gardaí pursued the suspects, who abandoned their vehicle and attempted to evade arrest by jumping into the Blackwater River. Two Trim Gardaí, guided by thermal detection from the Air Support Unit, apprehended the suspects. The stolen jewelry is being returned, and the police are investigating the suspects' links to a series of break-ins. The suspects are due to appear in Athlone District Court.
