Rapper Ja Rule has been denied entry into the UK just days before his scheduled Sunrise tour in Cardiff, due to his criminal record. Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Bruce Atkins Sr, served two years in prison for gun possession and tax evasion charges and cited this as the reason for being refused entry. The tour was set to feature performances in London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, and Liverpool, but tickets for the shows remain available on Ticketmaster.
