Prosser police chief Jay King resigns after a month-long investigation and "no-confidence" vote by his officers, following allegations of abuse of power. King, hired last March, had been placed on administrative leave in January pending the investigation. Interim Police Chief John Markus will take his place until further notice. The city thanks King for his service and dedication during his tenure.
