Indian Air Force Chief VR Chaudhari visited Bangladesh and met with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, congratulating her on her fresh mandate and conveying best wishes for her tenure. He also briefed her on ongoing bilateral defense cooperation. Chaudhari paid tribute to the members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces who made supreme sacrifices during the 1971 Liberation War by laying a wreath at the altar of Shikha Anirban in Dhaka.
