The Charlotte Hornets have committed to "fully funding" a new downtown practice facility in addition to the $30 million investment from the city. The co-owned team, led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall, is collaborating with longtime partner Novant Health to create a leading-edge sports medicine and orthopedic facility as part of the mixed-use practice facility development. The Hornets thanked the City of Charlotte and City Council for their partnership.
