Bangladesh's government has set Ramadan office hours for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm during the upcoming month of Ramadan. The decision was made at a cabinet meeting, where there will be a 15-minute break from 1:15 pm to 1:30 pm for Zohr prayers. The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on March 12 or 13, subject to the sighting of the moon.
