AI startup Glean, which helps companies search their own knowledge bases, has secured $200 million in its latest funding round, valuing the business at $2.2 billion. The funding, co-led by existing investors Kleiner Perkins and Lightspeed Venture Partners, will be used to double the company's workforce to 700 employees by the end of the year. Glean's software connects to enterprise first- and third-party databases to field plain-language requests from employees, offering a custom ChatGPT-like experience.
