A 31-year-old man from Gravois Mills, Missouri drowned on Monday evening at Truman Lake near Shawnee Bend. Skyler R. Lewis waded into the water without a life jacket to retrieve a snagged net and went underwater, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. This marks the third drowning reported by the highway patrol this year.
