An 11-year-old girl riding an electric scooter was seriously injured after being hit by a CTA bus driver in South Chicago on Monday afternoon. The crash occurred in the 8400 block of South Commercial Avenue around 4:40 p.m. The girl was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition, and the cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
