TDCJ inmate Calvin Lee Patterson, 23, who escaped from the Stringfellow Unit in Rosharon, was recaptured just hours later, around 2.5 miles from the prison. Patterson, a probationer out of Harris County serving a sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, will face felony escape charges. He was found by TDCJ scent dogs.
