Stormont officials have been instructed to restart discussions over an all-Ireland bid to host the opening stages of the Tour de France in 2023, according to Economy Minister Conor Murphy. Previous talks were suspended due to the absence of a Stormont Executive. The 2014 Giro D'Italia, which featured stages on both sides of the Irish border, was praised for its economic and tourism impact.
