Premier Jacinta Allan appointed Marlo Baragwanath, the Independent Broad-Based Anti-Corruption Commission's chief executive and former Victorian government solicitor, as the new Victorian Ombudsman. Baragwanath will replace the outgoing ombudsman, Deborah Glass, whose tenure ends on March 30. Baragwanath has held a range of senior roles in legal and integrity areas across the Victorian Government, including the Victorian Building Authority and WorkSafe.
