Great Pacific Gold has started drilling at its Lauriston Gold Project in Victoria, Australia, to follow up on its high-grade Comet gold discovery. The company will test the down-dip extension of the west-dipping mineralized structure and further mineralization north of the discovery. The Comet prospect's geology is similar to that of the Fosterville Mine deposit. Great Pacific Gold has a portfolio of high-grade gold projects in Papua New Guinea and Australia, focusing on epizonal and intrusion-related gold mineralization.
