Google has added its AI assistant, Gemini, to its Messages app, allowing users to send AI-drafted responses to friends and engage in conversational interactions. Other new features include Android Auto's ability to summarize long messages and suggest relevant replies during driving, image captioning for Android, and updated accessibility features for Google Maps. The Gemini update is only available on Android phones and to beta program participants.
