Ford is offering a first-of-its-kind factory Matte Clear Film option for the 2024 Mustang, providing a satin-like finish for all paint colors and versions. The film, developed with PPG, is designed to protect the car's paint and withstand harsh detergents, road salt, and other hazards. It will be available for EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse coupes, with convertibles gaining access in Q4 of 2023.
