The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) impounded 130 rickety vehicles in Abuja, alleging they were used for criminal activities such as "one-chance" operations. The Directorate of Road Traffic Services (DRTS) conducted a two-week raid on unroadworthy vehicles in the capital city. Those that fail to meet minimum standards will be crushed, while their owners face the mobile court and penalties.
