Bangladesh reconstitutes ICT-1, appoints Justice Md Abu Ahmed Jamadar as chairman and AHM Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan as member.
The Bangladesh government has reconstituted the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1, appointing tribunal member Justice Md Abu Ahmed Jamadar as its new chairman. The post of chairman became vacant as Chief Justice expressed the desire to take current chairman Justice Md Shahinur Islam back to the High Court. The government also appointed District and Sessions Judge AHM Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan as a new member of the tribunal.
