A 24-yr-old suspected car thief was found hiding in a ceiling in Townsville, Australia. After escaping onto a rooftop and throwing glass at officers, negotiators intervened. The man surrendered, sustaining no serious injuries, and was charged with serious assault police officer, entering a dwelling, and unlawful use of a vehicle. A 20-yr-old woman was also charged with unlawful use of a vehicle; both are due in court Monday.
