Texas man, Dr. TaMar Hicks, broke the world record for the fastest half marathon while wearing handcuffs, completing the 46th annual Cowtown Marathon in 1 hour, 20 minutes, and 36 seconds. Hicks had previously attempted to break the record and plans to submit his time to Guinness World Records for verification. The current record, held by Boudewijn Dominicus, was set in 2018 at 1 hour, 25 minutes, and 19 seconds.
