SFO launches investigation into liquidated NZ cryptocurrency platform Dasset for missing $6.3m.
The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has launched an investigation into failed NZ cryptocurrency platform Dasset, which entered liquidation in August 2023. At least $6.3m in cryptocurrency is unaccounted for. The SFO encourages anyone with relevant information or who was a Dasset customer to contact them at dasset@sfo.govt.nz. The investigation follows a referral from the Financial Markets Authority.
