Over 100 drug users escaped from an overcrowded, understaffed rehab center in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, with 97 still at large.
Nearly 100 drug users escaped from an overcrowded state-owned rehab center in Vietnam's Mekong Delta after an internal dispute. Of the 191 who broke out, 94 were found and brought back, while 97 remain on the run. The facility, housing over 460 drug addicts, has substandard infrastructure and is understaffed with 60 guards in charge. This is not the first escape incident; around 200 detainees escaped from a facility in Tien Giang province in 2018.
