Ontario Premier Doug Ford launches the One Fare program, offering GTA public transit integration and savings of up to $1,600 annually.

The One Fare program launches on Monday in the GTA, allowing public transit riders to travel between GO Transit, TTC, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay, and York Region Transit. The initiative, led by Ontario Premier Doug Ford, aims to offer more transit options and convenience, address fare duplication, and save riders an average of $1,600 a year in fares. Under the new system, TTC riders transferring between other GTA transit systems will pay only the highest single fare associated with their trip.
