KKR is reportedly acquiring VMware's end-user compute business for $3.8 billion, according to Reuters. The deal follows Broadcom's acquisition of VMware for $69 billion in November, as part of efforts to streamline its business operations. VMware's EUC business, which sells software for remote desktop access via the cloud, features a client list including many government and highly-regulated industry customers.
