A 20-year-old man, Samuel Stone, has been arrested by Santa Cruz police for allegedly killing his girlfriend at Seabright Beach. The victim, a 21-year-old woman from Santa Cruz, was found unconscious near the beach waterline. She was transported to the hospital but later pronounced dead. Stone, who was arrested near the body, has been booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on a homicide charge.
