UGA sophomore Christopher Morales Williams set the world indoor record for the 400-meter dash at the Southeastern Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship, running a 44.49 race. He broke the previous world record of 44.52 set by USC sprinter Michael Norman in 2018. Morales Williams, from Vaughan, Ontario, also set the school, meet, facility, and collegiate record with his run.
