Subaru has reduced the price of its Solterra electric car by $8,000 before its first delivery, with the range now starting at $69,990. The range-topping Solterra Touring has also been cut by $6,700. The Japanese automaker has stated that these new prices will apply to all existing pre-order customers. The price drop brings the Solterra in line with competitors such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Tesla Model Y.
