Scottish Economy Secretary Mairi McAllan, 31, revealed her pregnancy in an interview with The Sunday Mail. McAllan, who is four months pregnant, plans to take maternity leave in July and return to her role in March next year. She will continue working on her portfolio priorities, including growing Scotland's wellbeing economy and addressing climate and nature emergencies, during her leave.
