Fire crews from Carlisle West, Brampton, and Penrith attended the incident at 10:29 AM, with the fire affecting the home's living room. One person was rescued from the property and later succumbed to their injuries. Cumbria Police confirmed the death and stated that it is not currently being treated as suspicious.
