A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Chef Menteur Highway in New Orleans on February 25. The NOPD responded to a call at 6:42 a.m. and found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle had veered off the road and collided with a fire hydrant and a tree. The Orleans Parish coroner will identify the victim, and the NOPD investigation is ongoing.
