Fond du Lac man Gary E. Davis was convicted on February 23rd of First Degree Intentional Homicide for the November 2022 murder of Jacquelyn Rooney. Davis was also found guilty of Mayhem and Hiding a Corpse. The jury reached their verdict after five days of testimony. Rooney's body was discovered in her locked apartment with 14 stab wounds and multiple blunt-force injuries to her head.
