A major fire broke out at the Shillong Bar Association building in Meghalaya on Saturday night, with the cause yet to be confirmed. Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma visited the scene and stated that electric conditions may have led to the fire. No casualties were reported, but the building and documents suffered damage. Firefighter vehicles were continuously engaged in extinguishing the blaze.
