Alberta teacher Renu Mathew remains in CBC's pottery reality series, The Great Pottery Throw Down, after surviving a third week. The show, which began on February 8, features 10 amateur potters with weekly winners and eliminations. In the February 22 episode, contestants completed two challenges: replicating a lidded urn and creating an abstract self-sculpture.
