Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer's wife, Leigh Janiak, has filed for divorce after nine years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences". The couple, who met in 2006 while working at a Los Angeles production company, do not have children together. Production for the final season of Stranger Things, which they are both involved in, has resumed in Atlanta and is expected to premiere in 2025.
