The Odysseus lunar lander, the first private US spacecraft to land on the moon, has tipped over and is now on its side, according to officials. Intuitive Machines, the company that developed the spacecraft, initially claimed it was upright, but further analysis of data revealed it caught a foot on the surface during the final descent, causing it to topple. Despite being on its side, the lander remains functional with most instruments operational.
