A beloved "Christmas house" in Moorpark, known as the Candy Cane Lane of Moorpark, was destroyed by a garage fire on Feb. 15. The home belonged to Glenn and Wendy Dormer, who have been decorating their property for nearly 20 years. The fire was contained to the garage, and while the couple's dog, Bernie, was safely evacuated, many decorations that attracted thousands of visitors during the holiday season were lost.
