Manitou Springs police arrested 57-year-old James Walter on multiple child sexual assault charges, including Sexual Assault on a Child by One in a Position of Trust and Second Degree Assault. The arrest resulted from a collaborative investigation with the Monument and Colorado Springs police departments. Walter is being held without bond at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
