Dell McGee, with 22 years of coaching experience, becomes Georgia State University's new Head Football Coach, succeeding Shawn Elliott.

Dell McGee, a former Auburn player, has been named Georgia State University's new Head Football Coach. McGee, with 22 years of coaching experience, joins Georgia State from the University of Georgia where he worked as running backs coach and run game coordinator for their back-to-back national championship teams in 2021-22. He replaces Shawn Elliott, who left to become an assistant coach at South Carolina.
