An armed robber wearing a bandana and bucket hat stole drugs and cash from a Christchurch chemist before barricading terrified staff in a back room. The incident occurred at the Bargain Chemist in Papanui's Langdons Rd on Friday night, and the suspect remains at large. Staff identified the man's intent to rob the store based on his attire and behavior. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to track him down.
