UK MP Bob Stewart had his conviction for racially aggravated public order offence quashed after appealing the conviction. The incident involved Stewart telling Bahraini activist Sayed Ahmed Alwadaei to "go back to Bahrain" during a dispute outside the Foreign Office's Lancaster House. Although Stewart's words were deemed abusive, the court determined that they did not cause Alwadaei harassment, alarm, or distress.
