Some parent-managed minor accounts sold content featuring young girls in bikinis to male audiences with sexual interest, despite no nudity or illegal content. Meta launched the feature without child-safety measures, leading to exploitation of child modeling accounts by users with pedophilic interests. Meanwhile, CEO Mark Zuckerberg seeks to avoid personal liability in over two dozen lawsuits accusing Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snap of addicting children to their platforms.
